Which papers qualify
Chapter 50 of the Florida Statutes governs legal and official advertisements. A qualifying newspaper must be published at least weekly, hold periodicals postal permission, and serve the county where the notice is required. The chapter spells the tests out in its opening sections.

Chapter 50 ties what a paper may charge for a legal notice to its regular commercial rates rather than setting one statewide dollar figure. Each paper's legal desk quotes per notice based on length; ask for the line or inch rate and the computed total before you commit.
